A step-by-step guide based on our official assembly video — works for all S Series models (S, S Pro, and S Competition).Setting up your new NABIIS bike takes just a few minutes and a couple of basic tools. Follow along with the steps below, or watch the full video tutorial [link to YouTube video] for a visual walkthrough of every step.
What You'll Need
Everything below is included in your box:
-
- 4 mm Allen (hex) key
- 5 mm Allen (hex) key
- Open-end wrench (15 mm)
- Cross-head screwdriver
- Bike pump
- Reflectors
- Bell
- Pedals (marked L / R)
- Owner's manual
Before you start: unpack your bike carefully and lay down a soft surface (a blanket, cardboard, or rug) to avoid scratching the frame or your floor while you work.
Step 1: Install the Handlebar
-
- Rotate the front fork 180° so the stem and front brake caliper are facing forward.
- Using the 4 mm Allen key, remove the faceplate bolts and take the faceplate off.
- Position the handlebar so the green brake lever sits on the right side from the rider's perspective, with both brake levers tilted downward at approximately 35°.

- Place the faceplate back on and thread all four bolts in by hand first.
- Using the 4 mm hex key, tighten the four clamp bolts — but don't fully tighten one bolt at a time. Rotate each bolt just a little in a criss-cross pattern until they're evenly and firmly secured.
- Rotate the front fork 180° so the stem and front brake caliper are facing forward.
💡 Tip: Tightening bolts evenly (a little at a time, alternating between them) keeps the faceplate aligned and prevents uneven pressure on the stem.

Step 2: Install the Front Wheel
-
- Pop off the plastic protective caps on the front axle.
- Make sure the tread direction on the front tire matches the rear tire.
- Drop the front wheel axle into the fork dropouts.
- Hand-tighten both axle bolts (about two to three turns) until the wheel is snug and centered.
- Slot the brake noodle back into the brake arm cradle, and give the lever a squeeze to confirm the front brake operates smoothly.

Step 3: Install the Pedals
⚠️ Please note: the left and right pedals thread in opposite directions.
-
- Right (R) pedal: turn clockwise to tighten
-
Left (L) pedal: turn counterclockwise to tighten
-
- Take the right pedal (marked R) and thread it into the right crank arm by hand, then secure it firmly with the 15 mm open-end wrench.
- Take the left pedal (marked L) and thread it into the left crank arm by hand — remember, this one tightens counterclockwise — then secure with the wrench.
Step 4: Attach the Bell
-
- Loosen the bell's clamp screw with the 5 mm Allen key.
- Position the bell near the handlebar grip, next to the brake lever.
- Tighten the screw with the 5 mm Allen key to secure it in place.
- Flick the lever to make sure it rings well.
Step 5: Final Adjustments
-
- Adjust the saddle to the proper height for your child (see our [Sizing Guide] if you're not sure what height to start at).
- If needed, you can fine-tune the seat clamp by turning the thumb nut on the other side.
- Check your tire pressure with the included pump and inflate to the recommended PSI [see tire pressure chart].
- Give the bike a final once-over — spin both wheels, squeeze both brakes, and rock the handlebar — to make sure everything's running smooth before your child's first ride.
- Adjust the saddle to the proper height for your child (see our [Sizing Guide] if you're not sure what height to start at).
That's It — Time to Ride!
